Position Summary

NovaTech is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support our engineering team in the planning, documentation, and execution of engineered automation and controls projects. This position will work closely with project engineers to help manage timelines, coordinate communications, track tasks, and assist with technical documentation and reporting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support project engineers in coordinating project timelines, schedules, and deliverables
  • Maintain project tracking tools including schedules, budgets, and task lists
  • Assist in preparing customer documentation, technical reports, and internal and external status updates
  • Coordinate meetings, record notes, and follow up on action items
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external customers or vendors
  • Monitor project milestones and work with engineers to ensure completion of upcoming deadlines or outstanding items
  • Help organize and track incoming project-related documentation and approvals
  • Provide administrative support for project logistics such as travel, training, and resource planning
  • Assist in compiling and organizing product testing, delivery, and warranty documentation
Education & Experience Required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a project support or administrative role, preferably in an engineering, technical, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with Wrike or similar scheduling tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, automation, or substation environments is a plus but not required
